My
name’s Svetoslav and I was born in 1976. I'm living in Sofia, the capital of
Bulgaria.
I’ve been
passionately interested in nature and wildlife my entire life.
That’s why I studied Biology at Sofia University and after graduation I had
the opportunity to start working for the biggest nature conservation NGO in
Bulgaria -
the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds / BirdLife Bulgaria
where currently, I’m working on
Life+
project for conservation of Imperial Eagle and Saker Falcon in Bulgaria.
Though birds and nature are my first passion, photography has always been an important part of my life. This led naturally to mixing my interests and starting to take photos of birds and nature.
Till now some of my photos have been published in magazines such as National
Geographic, GEO, Birds and others, as well as in materials of the European
Commission, BirdLife International and many other organizations and private
companies in Bulgaria, Belgium, Belarus, UK, Georgia, Greece, Germany,
Netherlands and USA.
