Few countries can rival Bulgaria's scenic splendour and diverse nature. The landscape changes every 50 km, to reveal alpine mountains, rivers with spectacular canyons, vast meadows and forests, wetlands and coastal sand beaches. Bulgaria's geographic position in the southeastern corner of the Balkan peninsular and the wide range of habitats ensure outstanding wildlife diversity and the country is becoming an increasingly popular destination for nature photographers and wildlife enthusiasts alike.

Neophron Tours offers an 8-day tour for individuals and small groups (up to 6 persons), focusing on the rich bird diversity and the beautiful scenery of the Eastern Rhodopes and the wetlands along the Black Sea Coast.

Best periods:
    10 May - 10 June for Egyptian and Griffon Vulture, Bee-eater, Calandra Lark, Paddyfield Warbler, Pied and Isabelline  Wheatears, European Souslik and more.
    01 August - 20 September for White Pelican, Pygmy Cormorant, Broad-billed Sandpiper, Egyptian and Griffon Vultures and more.
    20 January - 25 February for Red-breasted Goose, Pygmy Cormorant, Griffon Vulture and more.
The tour can start any time you prefer within the above period.

Costs per person:
    Individuals: GBP 860 /  1220 Euros
    2-3 persons: GBP  590 / 845 Euros
    4-6 persons: GBP  480 / 685 Euros
    Single room supp: GBP  80 / 120 Euros

 
Accommodation: In twin bedded en-suite rooms, in clean and comfortable family-run hotels.

Food: Breakfast and dinners at the hotels, lunches are packed.
